For as long as I can remember, I knew it was my life purpose and mission to be of service to others as they dared to open to newer and deeper ways of being, relating, feeling, and living in ways that may have given up on, forgotten about or only dreamed of. It is my ongoing commitment to be an instrument of this work that allows pieces of self to be explored and released or reintegrated and for unfolding to occur in an environment of safety, containment, skill, compassion & experience.
Being able to be a witness, guide, companion, and facilitator on others journey’s is truly an inspiration and source of meaning, depth, and service. I appreciate the depth of courage it takes to truly look very deeply within and the discovery of self that comes from that road taken. I have had success with assisting clients to come into great moment to moment awareness with presence and compassion for who they are. The shifts that happen at these edges, the openings, and the waking up are all are part of a valued and intimate relationship with oneself and others, even right at the difficult edgy places.
My work with people helps them to be willing to face oneself honestly, to venture deeper into the possibilities for relating in more effective, compassionate, creative, and powerful ways, to not just talk about these things, but to embody them in their fullness so that one’s path to clarity and balance about life’s challenges can be realized and fully lived.
Life is journey and sometimes a quest and an adventure, sometimes a drama, other times a tragedy. Often there can are be obstacles and roadblocks; personally, interpersonally, and professionally. We can get lost, confused, disillusioned, and wonder what we are doing, why we are here, or why we keep getting stuck, becoming not sure how to move forward or how to respect who we are from our core place of truth. It’s precisely these very human experiences that are like the safety road signs on a stormy night, guiding us to that within ourselves which serves as the portal to more of our own authentic self. I honor this journey as it exists in all of us and utilize it to help foster growth, change, and transformation.
I am committed to offering psychotherapy to clients from the Bay Area, Marin, and Sonoma County areas, and to continue training, education, collaboration, and consultation to further my own growth. In the recent years I have started to offer more groups as I believe that not only is the personal work of growth important, but also that the need to come together as community, to listen to one another, and to work together so that we may address the larger picture of integral planetary healing is of significance as well. I have also recently begun to offer consultation services for MFT Trainees and Interns, in addition to practice building consultation services for people in psychology and related professions. I am committed to continued development of these professional endeavors.
