Modalitites

My most effective way of working comes from a woven place of the many different schools, teachers, and traditions I have been trained in, as well as my own continued commitment to psychological and spiritual growth. The ever growing threads of this tapestry create a flexible, creative and highly intuitive container to safely hold the experience and organic process of change, growth, and transformation. Always, there is a deep respect for the unique unfolding of each person’s journey, compassion for the risks and courage it takes to go deeper and more truly into one self, and to meet one’s own growth intimately, right at the very edges of our human experience.

Therapy/Process Work Duration & Frequency

Private therapy sessions are generally 50 minutes long for individual and teen work. Couples sessions typically last 60 minutes and most couples may find it helpful to meet for longer sessions initially. I offer 75 and 100 minute sessions if we decide it would be helpful. Usually we will meet weekly, although that may change at different times depending upon on what is needed.

Therapy durations vary from individual to individual and issue to issue. For some people a few sessions can be an effective way to begin to address the dilemmas one is facing, although for most of the clients I serve, the process and relationship formed takes time to develop, so that the most meaningful aspects of your journey unfold in a non pressured, spacious and therefore safe environment.

Intensives typically are a minimum of 5 hours although depending on the program you’ve decided on or the program you wish to create, they can be longer. It is not uncommon for programs to be a few days to a week depending on the depth and desired evolutionary goals at hand. Please go to the Intensives page for more.
